"I Found You in the Rain / Shining in the Sky" is an experiment in trust, long-distance collaboration, and creating a space to process the unresolved.

When their band dissolved suddenly, two friends and former bandmates in different Ohio cities decided to move forward from the creative disappointment of an imploded project and stay connected to each other by swapping files over the course of a year; guitar loops, field recordings, video clips, voice memos, former projects, and scraps of songs.

These were eventually arranged into four new pulsing and personal ambient tracks with accompanying artwork. This process revealed to them the level of vulnerability and trust required for a buoyant collaboration and illuminated their shared sense of aesthetic beauty; forgotten, fleeting, solitary moments, captured and stored only in the obscurity of the digital realm until exchanged with one another and combined into something breathing and new.
